Recieved his Ph.D. from the School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development at Lousiana State University in 1999. His dissertation on Self-Directed Learning was recognized with a national research award as the outstanding dissertation in business education in 2001. Since then James has served as a faculty member in the Miller College of Business at Ball State Univeristy and in the Department of Human Resource Education at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Currently he is serving as the Graduate Program Director and teaches human resource managment and development as well as research methods courses at the University of South Carolina - Columbia. He has served as the Editor of the Journal of Career and Technical Education, Journal of Online Learning, and special edition editor of the Information, Technology, Learning and Performance Journal. He is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development, Delta Pi Epsilon, American Education Research Association, as well as a variety of other professional organizations.

 

 

 

 

 

   
 
 

Is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Clemson University in Educational Leadership with a specialization in higher education and a cognate in statisitics. Her Masters degree is from the University of Louisivlle in Human Resource Education. Michelle has taught in the area of instructional technology and has consulted in the area of human resource development. She has served as a research associate performing a wide array of duties including statistical analysis, writing, and project management to name a few. Her specific projects have included topics such as the community college faculty, developing national assessments in business, online learning, and survey design and analysis. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development, Organizational Systems Research Association, as well as a variety of other professional organizations.
